introduces students to the field of education through hands-on experiences in real classroom settings. Students explore the role of teachers and support staff while learning how classrooms are organized to support student learning.
Students assist teachers with daily instructional activities and provide support to individual students and small groups under teacher guidance. Emphasis is placed on professionalism, communication, responsibility, and understanding how educators create safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environments. This course serves as an entry point for students interested in careers in education or youth-focused professions.
