The Parent-Teacher-Student Association (PTSA) at Mary E. Britton Middle School serves as a vital bridge between parents, students, educators, and the broader community—championing collaboration to enrich the student experience. Guided by the mission of the Kentucky 16th District PTA, the PTSA’s purpose is to make every child’s potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all students, undergirded by values like collaboration, inclusivity, accountability, integrity, and respect.

At Mary E. Britton, the PTSA plays a central role in fostering educational, social, and emotional growth. This includes hosting community-building events, coordinating volunteer opportunities, funding classroom and extracurricular projects, and supporting school-wide initiatives that enhance learning. The PTSA also participates in district and state programs such as Reflections, a nationwide arts competition, and engages in legislative advocacy to ensure that policies support student success. Through open communication, active involvement, and a shared commitment to excellence, the Mary E. Britton PTSA ensures that every student feels supported, celebrated, and connected.
