How to Use the Interactive Map to Find Your Child’s Middle School for 2025-26

Fayette County Public Schools has created an easy-to-use interactive map to help parents determine which middle school their child is districted to attend for the 2025-26 school year. This is particularly important with the opening of Mary E. Britton Middle School in August 2025.

To get started, follow these simple steps:

1. Click the link to access the interactive map: Middle School District Map. (make sure you have selected Option 6).
2. Use the search bar at the top of the map to enter your home address. The map will automatically zoom in to your location.
3. Look for the shaded area that includes your address. Each area is color-coded and labeled with the name of the middle school your child will attend.
4. For additional details, click directly on the map near your address to display a pop-up box with specific school assignment information.
