Club details and information
The Orchestra program at Mary E. Britton Middle School provides students with the opportunity to develop musicianship, discipline, and teamwork through the study and performance of string instruments. Students learn to read music, refine technique, and perform a wide range of musical styles while building confidence and collaboration skills.
Orchestra students engage in regular performances for school and community events, gaining valuable experience both individually and as part of an ensemble. Through consistent practice and guided instruction, students strengthen problem-solving skills, perseverance, and pride in their work.
Open to students of varying experience levels, the orchestra program supports artistic growth while fostering creativity, responsibility, and a strong sense of belonging. At Britton, orchestra helps students find their voice—together—through music.
